年过四十的男人大黑静雄（堤真一 饰）突发奇想，辞去原本还算安稳的工作，决心寻找真实的自我。早年离异的静雄一直和父亲志郎（石桥莲司 饰）以及17岁的女儿铃子（桥本爱 饰）生活在一起，辞职后他散漫度日，从没画过画的他突然决定以漫画家身份出道。只不过无趣的题材接连遭到退稿，在打工的快餐店又经常被比自己年轻的前辈训斥。日常里，同样离异的上班族好友宫田修（生濑胜久 饰）以及同在快餐店打工的问题青年市野泽秀一（山田孝之 饰）是陪他共同买醉的朋友。看不到未来的静雄，今朝有酒今朝醉，确实可以期盼出道的那一天…… 本片根据漫画家青野春秋的同名原作改编。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
