故事发生在每晚都能够看到流星的城市——星之丘。长久以来，自幼生活在那里的少年石蕗正晴（野岛裕史 配音）都为自己内向而羞涩的个性所苦恼，因为这性格，正晴甚至都无法交到任何的朋友，于是，改变自己并且交到朋友，这成为了正晴目前最大的目标。 一次偶然中，正晴喝下了魔法果汁，并且因此而获得了在夜间变成可爱小绵羊的超能力！抓狂的正晴被告知，只有收集所谓的“星之露”，才能够让他恢复正常，而唯有某个拥有特殊魔法的少女才有收集星之露的能力。让正晴感到震惊的是，那个魔法少女不是别人，正是他一直暗恋着的女孩秋姬素桃（结本满 配音）。。When a broken hearted boy loses the treasured wooden nativity set that links him to his dead father, his worried mother persuades a lonely ill-tempered woodcarver to create a replacement, and to allow her son to watch him work on it.
