台湾博物馆珍贵文物“断砚”失盗后，特警东方克跟踪洪云，经香港来到古都。香港昌东古物珠宝有限公司高级雇员钟济昌一伙为寻断砚也同机抵达。于是，各方展开了一场明争暗斗。我公安人员乔装打扮周旋在洪云、夏青青、钟济昌、东方克之间，用生命保住了国宝断砚。东方克带着失盗的半方返回台湾。。Set in the 1950s in the fictional village of Kembleford, the series follows Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who has a knack for solving crimes. He is assisted by parish secretary Bridgette McCarthy and is often a source of frustration for the local police.。
