莫格利的父母在印度丛林进行研究工作时遭到了老虎的袭击后与年幼的莫格利失散，莫格利随后被狼群收留，作为人类生活在丛林里的莫格利是如何成长的，又发生了怎样的故事呢…… 相信很多人曾经在电视上看过这部52集的TV动画片。很多观众误以为这是一部欧美国家的动画作品，但其实这是一部日本动画片，只是风格比较靠近欧美式。本片故事，音乐和画面据当时而言十分出色，使当时的年轻观众深深记住了它。值得一提的是这部作品的中文普通话配音十分出色，堪称早期异国片成功本地化的优秀典范。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit.
