该剧记录了广州老城区西关一户姓康的人家，老俩口生有四个儿子，依着老康的如意算盘，未来媳妇应该都是广州本地姑娘，但恰恰相反，三个儿子的意中人却都是来自外地女子，其中一个还是金发碧眼的“鬼妹”。康家原有的生活秩序被打乱了，一个带有新鲜内容和喜剧色彩的家庭生活展现在我们面前：老头子对外来人的固有偏见；二儿媳妇自认为是正宗的广东人，争宠夺势；岭南文化与北方文化的冲撞交锋；两个外来媳妇本身之间的地域性格差别；以及这种特殊的婚姻组合所带出的整个珠三角地区的社会生活新变化，展现了广州正向着更为广阔的国际空间发展。。George Harvey Bone is a composer in early 20th century London, who is under stress because he is writing a piano concerto. Due to this stress, he gets black outs when ever he hears dissonances. When he finds himself after the black out in a different quarter of the town, he returns home, to read in the paper that somebody in that quarter was murdered. Asking help from a doctor ...。
