张君宝终日被父亲张绍定禁足，他的生活基本处于夜里做梦学艺，白天疯疯癫癫的状态，偶尔读书写字，经常在纸上画出一些五行八卦一类的东西，且经常提出要“出门远行，寻访高人，修行道法。”连他自己都快搞不清楚到底是装疯还是真疯了。张绍定夫妇四处寻医问药，但没人能解决张君宝疯癫的问题。。Set in 1978, the film marks the fourth joint effort between Monzón and Jorge Guerricaechevarría, and tells the action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled story of 17-year-old Nacho Cañas, an introverted student who lives in Girona and who is something of a misfit.
