约翰（克里斯托弗·乔纳 Kristoffer Joner 饰）是一个看似木讷老实的小职员，女友英格丽（安娜·巴赫-维格 Anna Bache-Wiig 饰）的决然离开令他倍受打击。虽然约翰无数次希望重新来过，但是他们的爱情已无力回天。沮丧落寞之际，他结识了住在隔壁的邻居安娜（塞西蕾·A·莫斯利 Cecilie A.
