电影根据驻村扶贫干部真实人物事迹改编，故事讲述了机关干部冯曙光主动请缨，前往十八湾村去驻村扶贫，进村后面临着重重困难，但他心怀初心，一心为民，脚踏实地为村民谋福利，向贫困发起了英勇宣战，带领了深度贫困村走上小康之路……。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee. But suddenly his tricks stop working. And then he unwittingly falls in love with his sister whom he believed to be lost.
